How we evaluate software

Start with a defined use case and a representative set of tasks. Record the product plan, dates, devices, and settings used during evaluation.

Assess functionality, ease of use, reliability, value, and relevant security controls. Compare products under equivalent conditions and explain where a direct comparison is not appropriate.

Document evidence and limitations in the review. Do not infer performance from marketing materials or claim hands-on testing without a completed evaluation. Demo content demonstrates the format only.
